Kannan Ramasamy
Management Partner & Investor

Kannan Ramasamy pursued entrepreneurial assignments after a successful career as an executive. In the past 4 years, as President & CEO, he turned around Dallas based Aegis Communications Group Inc. Between 2000 and 2004, at Scandent Group Inc. as a member of the founding team he led their US business. Kannan spent 8 years with GE Capital from 1993 to 2000 in three leadership assignments. As their founding CEO, he built a start up consumer finance joint venture business to a position of market leadership in India. He then moved to Chicago as SVP of Marketing to support the business turnaround of GE Capital’s Global Automotive Lease business. In recognition of his success in these assignments, Kannan was offered the position of President & CEO of GE Capital’s Financing Businesses in India. He has also worked with Bank of America, American Express and Pond’s in management roles prior to joining GE Capital. Kannan is a B. Tech from IIT, Chennai and MBA from IIM, Calcutta. He is a permanent resident of the US and lives in Massachusetts. Kannan provides leadership to Global Sales and Marketing Processes and runs the US and SolutionNET Business.

Karthik Raman
COO & Head Engineering

Karthik Raman has over 15 years of techno commercial experience in the IT industry .He has been Chief Operating Officer and Delivery Head of SolutionNET since June 2000. In his role as COO, he oversees strategic technology initiatives, new product research, standards, program design and management and development of SolutionNet products. Karthik has made innovation his top priority. Consequently SolutionNET products incorporate appropriate state of art technology. In order to ensure alignment from a customer success standpoint, Karthik also handled the overall operations at SolutionNET. From July 1995 to June 2000, he has held key technical positions in the Electronic Banking Department of Deutsche Bank Regional Head office, Singapore. He has pioneered the design and development of the Electronic Banking software db-direct in both Client-Server and Web-based Internet Architectures. From March 1993 to June 1995, he worked for Tata Consultancy Services, India as a Senior Systems Analyst. He holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, India. Karthik provides leadership to Customer Success & Solution Innovation Center in Chennai, India.

Dhananjay Nene
Chief Architect

Dhananjay Nene was the Chief Technology Officer and Head of Product Development at CashTech Solutions (now part of FundTech) where he was responsible for the formulation and development of the product and platform architecture. Dhananjay's focus has been on architecting and developing complex large scale banking enterprise solutions, specially focused on high throughput transactional applications. In addition, he has also worked in providing software solutions for telecom, educational and secure wi-fi networks. Over the past 17 years Dhananjay has also been associated with Citicorp Software in the Architecture and Emerging Technologies group and with AT & T where in addition to developing and architecting software, he was a member of the corporate foundation architecture teams related to Object Orientation Realization, Java, CORBA and Middleware. Dhananjay holds a MBA from Indian Institute of Management, and Bachelors in Engineering from M.S. University of Baroda. Dhananjay provides leadership globally to product architecture and guidance on technology choices and direction.

Venkat comes to Vayana with 20 years of rich cross-functional experience in Corporate Finance and Operations Management spanning the financial planning & management, accounting, treasury, HR and administrative functions. He has worked in different capacities across industries with broad-based senior management exposures at Consim Info, India, Edutech Middle East, Dubai, and National Kidney Foundation, Singapore. A significant aspect of his finance career comes from the Service Industry with deep involvement in financial planning and management, fund raising, designing and implementing financial control systems and introducing and maintaining an environment of fiscal responsibility.

Raghu Ramakrishnan
Head Supply Chain Program

Raghu Ramakrishnan has over 15 years of experience, in the Corporate Banking and Supply Chain domains, in India and the US markets. This experience was gained through stints in companies like iFlex and i2 and included responsibilities in running distributed Product and Consulting Organizations. Raghu started his career with iFlex in India working on their flagship Corporate Banking product line. His experience in US included, 8 years at i2 Technologies, managing various Product lines and Consulting organizations in the Supply Chain domain. Raghu has successfully managed Products from conceptualization to fruition stage. He has extensive experience working with Customers, around the globe, across different Industry segments . He is a Mechanical Engineer with an MBA from Bharathidasan Institute of Management. Raghu will have responsibility for Product Management for Vayana Services.

Srikanth KS
Head Implementation & Pre-Sales

Srikanth, our Head of Pre-Sales and Project Implementation, has over 17 years of experience in the IT industry across Banking, Insurance, Health care & Manufacturing domains. He has been with SolutionNET from September 2000 handling customer relationships in Singapore and the US. As Head of Pre-Sales and Project Implementation, he oversees the solutioning process as well as ensuring customer success through timely project implementations. Prior to joining SolutionNET, he was heading Implementation & Maintenance of ERP systems for a leading manufacturing house at Chennai, India. He is a certified Project Manager (PMP) from Project Management Institute (PMI) USA and holds a MBA in International Trade. He is also certified by Roger S Pressman Associates (RSPA) on SDLC methodologies.

R.N. Iyer
Co-Founder and Director

R N Iyer was the co-founder and CEO of Cashtech solutions, which started in 1994. Cashtech has been recognized as the leading cash management vendor in Asia and is in operation with more than 30 banks and over 15 countries. Cashtech was acquired by Fundtech (a leader in global payments and US cash management) in 2004, resulting in substantial gains for all stakeholders. Prior to CashTech, Iyer worked with Accenture in their management consulting division and worked in the financial services and logistics space. Iyer has an MBA degree from IIM (Indian Institute of Management) Ahmedabad and a Bachelors degree in Engineering from Mumbai University. Iyer provides leadership to Business & Technology Strategy and Global Product Development Processes.

Srikrishnan was the Executive Director, member of the Board and core member of executive team of YES Bank in India providing overall strategic direction to the bank. He was involved from the set up of the Bank and had direct responsibility for setting up Technology, Operations and Infrastructure for all Retail and Transactional Banking activities. Prior to joining this bank, he was part of the founding management team at HDFC Bank, one of the largest Pvt. Sector Banks in India for over 9 years. He was involved in setting up the Bank's Corporate and Retail Banking, Treasury and Capital Markets Infrastructure businesses. Prior to this stint, he worked in various capacities with Emirates Bank, Dubai for 2 years and Bank of America, India for over 11 years. He holds an MBA degree and a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce. Srikrishnan provides leadership to Financing and Capital Engineering, Client and Investor Relationship and Global Business Development Processes.
