Business Advisory Committee
The company has set up a Business Advisory Committee (BAC) reporting into the Board. The BAC comprises Global Leaders from the Academia and Business who consult and counsel the Senior Management . This committee reviews business strategy, adoption of best practices and scaling of the business by efficiently alignment of people, intellectual and capital resources.
The Terms of Reference established by the BAC include :
- Help assess impact of global economic changes on the industry and specifically on Vayana
- Assist in business development and idea generation both from a market and product perspective
- Support and help develop strategies for new markets and client segments as well as a framework for ongoing strategic planning
- Challenge existing strategies with a view to providing an independent assessment of business direction
- Assess periodically the business Risks and Opportunities and provide recommendations on a way forward
- To report to the Board such findings and discuss the same as relevant.

Dr.Marti G Subrahmanyam
Dr.Marti G Subrahmanyam is Charles E Merrill Professor of Economics and Finance at the Leonard N Stern School of Business, New York University. Dr. Marti G Subrahmanyam is currently on the boards of LIC Nomura Mutual Fund AMC, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance and a few other renowned companies as Independent Director. He is highly respected for his knowledge about Global Business with specific focus on finance and technology.

Dr. Claude R. Begle
Dr. Claude R. Begle is the Director General in SymbioSwiss. He is a very senior industry spokesperson in Europe with wide connections in the Banking and corporate world and well regarded by the Government. He holds Masters' degrees in Law and International Studies (Graduate Institute of International Studies, HEI). Prior to SymbioSwiss, he was Chairman of Swiss Post. Claude was part of Senior Management at Nestlé (Switzerland, Mexico, Egypt, Spain, Nigeria, Ecuador, Colombia, Czech Republic) with roles in Marketing, M&A and General Management. He also served as MD of Philip Morris in Poland, CEO for French Post, Deutsche Post & GeoPost International. He is on the Boards of some leading companies in Europe and Member at Swiss Technical Co-operation (Nepal), International Committee of the Red Cross (Lebanon, Zimbabwe).

Kannan Ramasamy
Kannan Ramasamy is a member of the BAC in his capacity as an Investor, Senior Management Partner, US Operations and Global Sales and Marketing Leader for Vayana. Kannan is also CEO of the two operating subsidiaries in India and Dubai. Kannan has been in Management Roles with Unilever, American Express, Bank of America and GE Capital prior to spending his energies as an entrepreneur building and turning around businesses. He is an Engineer from IIT Madras and an MBA from IIM Calcutta. He is a resident of the US and lives in Andover, Massachusetts
